...E-ticket rides at Magic Kingdom, Florida

My favorite place (my happy place) is Walt Disney World. I first visited Florida's most popular amusement park when I was 5 years old and have been back every 2-3 years since. There are lots of great things to see and do, but here are my top 3 at Magic Kingdom (each park deserves their own top 3). #3...Splash Mountain. This is based on one of my favorite movies, Song of the South, epitomized by my favorite song, Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah. At my wedding, which just happened to be at WDW, they played this song after we were pronounced man & wife as we 'skipped' our way back down the aisle. Look out for that drop at the end, it's a doozie, and smile for the camera. #2...Space Mountain. It has recently been refurbished (at least the queue area has been improved and some of the aesthetics have been updated). Lots of fast fun in the dark. #1...Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This is one of the best roller coasters and offers a fun first roller coaster ride for many youngsters (always one of my kids' favorites).

...games for family game night

We have one of the largest game closets that you've ever seen and it is FULL of games. We also have a wide range of ages and interests in our family, so we have to choose games that appeal to all, but you don't need much to enjoy your family game night. #3...dominoes...you can't go wrong with dominoes which come in many styles and sizes. #2...twister...always a family favorite that everyone can participate in. #1...cards (especially UNO) my youngest uses a card holder to help hold her cards and we sometimes modify the rules (don't freak out...feel free to change the game rules for your family situation) so we can all have fun.
